Program Description:

This innovative postgraduate programme is designed for people who want to bridge the gap between formalacademic qualifications and practical experience of the world of business and the aim is to develop your understanding, competence and confidence as a professional, modern graduate. Students enrolled on the course become ‘graduate enterprise advisors’ and are immersed into a real business environment. By undertaking live consultancy projects for local small and medium sized companies a process of ‘action learning’ develops the tools, techniques and experience to produce solutions to a wide variety of business problems. In addition you will study two Masters level modules in Strategic and Change Management which give the necessary theoretical rigour to the work undertaken for clients. The program is highly participative and you will assemble, under guidance, a portfolio of evidence of both the skills and professional development that has taken place during the course. The typical applicant is a graduate from a business related discipline who wishes to gain a wide range of practical experience before beginning a career. Applications from those with wider experience who may wish to return to formal education are also welcomed. All applicants are interviewed prior to their acceptance on the course.
