Program Overview

Program Description:
This course is designed to explore, analyse and develop the practice of communicating science to the general public. It is rooted in the expanding world of interactive ‘hands-on’ science centres, reflecting the broad field of public understanding of science – also giving students a wide-ranging experience of communicating science in varied contexts. The course is joint between our Business School and Techniquest in Cardiff, which is one of the first science centres in Britain. The course is based at Techniquest and its facilities are the focus for practical experiences. You will also have access to specialised facilities at the University. If you are a graduate in science, engineering or technology and are keen to explore new ways of sharing your enthusiasm for your subject with the public at large, then this course is for you.
