- The growing internationalization of economic activity is inseparable from an increasing need to manage people across borders. This poses challenges not only for large firms but also for smaller enterprises that need to internationalize at an early phase of their development. Internationally-operating organizations need to develop the competences to make strategic decisions about international staffing, understand how to manage foreign nationals in their home countries, and deal with a range of complex practicalities occasioned by cross-border and cross-cultural operation.
The MA in International Human Resource Management at UEL is intended to meet the advanced educational needs of the specialists who will manage and research the HR implications of this phenomenon.
