Program Description:
Hosted by East China Normal University in Shanghai, the Chinese Language and Culture Studies Program is designed for students seeking to visit China for the first time to explore the Chinese language, culture, history and its contemporary society. Site visits and field trips in Beijing, Shanghai and its surrounding areas (Nanjing and Suzhou) are included. Please see our website for more details.

Classroom instructions are supplemented by field trips and site visits in and around Shanghai.

Setting Description:
Students are housed in double rooms in the international student dorm on campus. There are cafeterias and restaurants on and off campus where students can get meals. Meals are covered for the duration of the program in Shanghai.
