The School has exchange programs in place with other European research institutions and academic departments, and routinely organizes joint research seminars, lectures and workshops. The PhD program is now in its ninth year of activity, it is widely recognized as one of the best Italian PhD programs in Economics, and it has built a very promising track record in placing its graduates in research departments both in universities and in public and private research departments. In connection with Defap, the School also offers a Master program in Economics (Mefap). This is a one-year graduate program taught in English that provides students with a thorough understanding of the role and working of the state in modern economies.
