Program Overview

Program Description:
This program offers students from around the world the opportunity to study international conflict resolution at its core. As a reflection of the ever-increasing recognition in the academic world of the importance of conflict resolution, our mission is to equip our students with the necessary academic and practical tools to approach conflicts, their management and resolution. This supports our view that conflict resolution should be addressed both as an academic research field and as an area of practical activity and implementation. You will be studying with students from every continent, bringing with them their own experience and perspective. The exceptional professors coming from the best Universities of the country but also successful practitioners will give you the knowledge and practice you are looking for.

Our interdisciplinary curriculum will allow you to successfully expand your career opportunities and responsibilities in a variety of fields. The first semester will introduce you to disciplines as diverse as Psychology, Political Sciences, History of the Middle East, International Law, Anthropology and more all through a prism of conflict resolution. This will prepare you for the more in depth classes during the second and third semesters where a variety of seminars and electives will be at your disposal. Our intensive Mediation Workshop is the perfect tool to put all this knowledge in practice.

Quickly emerging as a sought-after title in the job market, the International Program provides its graduates with the leverage needed to excel professionally through its interdisciplinary approach, and emphasis on acquisition of mediation and negotiation skills.
Setting Description:
The International Program takes full advantage of its location in Israel, "The Silicon Valley of Conflict Resolution." Our faculty is comprised of lecturers and practitioners, many of whom have been directly engaged in past and present negotiations in the Middle East, and who draw on their vast hands-on experiences in conflict resolution with the students. Every week, we invite representatives from local and international governmental and non-governmental organizations as a means of complementing the students' classroom experience, in-depth research and professional networking. We also encourage and support you to participate in internships during your studies, taking advantage of the myriad of organizations devoted to conflict resolution in Israel and the Middle East.
