The Technion - Israel Institute of Technology international Master in Systems Engineering is an intensive and accelerated 15 month program taught entirely in Israel. The program officially runs from October through January with several breaks throughout the year. Technion M.E students tend to be in class between 20 and 30 hours a week. Due to the intensive nature of the M.E in Systems Engineering program, participants are encouraged to not work during the time at which they are studying in order to ensure that full attention and effort can be given to the program, career development, and group projects.

The M.E in Systems Engineering takes place on the Technion Campus, which lies on the slopes of Mount Carmel in Haifa. The Technion campus is one of the largest and most beautiful university campuses in Israel. Its various buildings sprawl across green lawns and shady groves. The campus has six dormitory clusters, full of life and social activities, cultural events and sports. Between rock shows that regularly take place on the campus central boulevard, classical concerts in the Churchill Auditorium, performances by the Technion’s Dance Company, and workouts in the sports complex, you are sure to find something exciting to fill your leisure time. Moreover, you won’t have to leave campus to find a post office, bank, medical or dental clinic, school supply shop, supermarket, laundromats, or access to public transport. ? All Systems Engineering Masters students have the option to purchase a housing plan from Lirom Global Education in order to facilitate their move. Student apartments are located within close proximity to the Technion campus and feature fully furnished studio apartments including a bed, desk, sitting area, and kitchenette, equipped with a mini fridge, microwave and stovetop. The apartments are all inclusive, including additional costs such as air conditioning, wireless Internet, city tax, electricity, water, television and weekly maid service.
Setting Description:
Israel's third largest city, Haifa is located in northern Israel, along the green slopes of the historic Mount Carmel, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It offers biblical holy sites, nature reserves and the most beautiful gardens in Israel. It is a quiet, beautiful, residential city with a decidedly European flavor, great beaches and a high quality of life. ? In a society unlike any other in the Middle East, Jews and Arabs live and work side by side; 25% of Haifa's population is either Muslim or Christian. With its Baha'i Center, churches, synagogues, and mosques, as well as its politically progressive, hardworking Jewish and Arabic population, Haifa, more than any other city in Israel, has come to embody unity and coexistence. ? Haifa's standing as a center of high tech industries stems largely from the MATAM Science-Based Industries Park, considered by many to be Israel's own Silicon Valley. The presence of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa was one of the dr
