Program Overview

Program Description:
Participants have access to all courses, programs and activities offered at the University of Osnabruck, including arts, computer science, humanities, liberal arts and social sciences as well as in languages, economics, health studies and theology. SUNY-Oswego participants are also permitted to take courses in the cognitive science program.

This is a direct enrollment program which means that participants normally take courses in German alongside German students. It is also possible to take courses in English from select Osnabruck departments. The SUNY-Oswego program is open to students with German proficiency, but it is not exclusively for German majors. Students must a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must have completed at least one year formal German language training to participate. Two years of formal language training is preferred.
