Program Description:

This course has been designed to offer experienced property professionals, and Postgraduate law and surveying students, the opportunity to study a selection of interrelated legal subject areas of relevance tothe property industry. You may wish to use the course to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the lawof real property and associated legal areas, or alternatively as a means by which to enhance your own career progression.Specialist award titles are available in Housing Law, Environmental and Planning Law, or Commercial Law. All students take taught units including Property Rights in Land, Contract and Torts Relating to Land, andLandlord and Tenant Law. Options available include Planning Law, UK Environmental Law, EU Environmental Law, Private Sector Housing Law, Public Sector Housing Law, Managing Social Housing and the Settlement of Disputes by Arbitration. Students taking the MSc must also complete the ResearchMethods unit and a dissertation.
