Program Description:

The course comprises two elements. The first is a taught research methods unit which will prepare you forthe task of producing an extended piece of legal writing. This unit may be taken as a five day intensive course or a one semester course with attendance at weekly three hour classes. The second element, following successful completion of the research methods unit, is the dissertation. Your dissertation involves a major piece of supervised research in an agreed and specific area of law. As a full time student,you will usually be expected to complete your dissertation within six months and within 12 months as apart time student.
