Program Description:

The Department of Psychiatry offers an M.Sc. degree program. The development of the program is the result of increased progress in neuropharmacology, neuroscience, and genetics, as well as in the evaluation of therapeutic interventions, and psychiatric epidemiology. The program is designed to provide advanced training in two main categories of psychiatric investigation. The first, suitable for basic scientists, is laboratory research in biological and behaviourial phenomena relevant to psychiatric disorder. The second is the training of medical scientists with an M.D. degree and background in clinical psychiatry to formulate and investigate relevant clinical questions.
