- The MSc degree addresses the learning needs of students wishing to prepare for the PhD route and emphasises theoretical and methodological content. The programme involves completing a total of three units and submitting a dissertation. In each of the first and second terms you take three compulsory half units from the following; foundations of social research in information systems; paradigms and traditions; quantitative analysis II: the generalised linear model; qualitative research methods in information systems; interpretation of information; quantitative analysis III: applied multivariate analysis; qualitative social research: interview, text and image.
