We look forward to welcoming you as a doctoral candidate at the Leuphana Graduate School. The Leuphana Graduate School's doctoral program consists of six compulsory modules students are enrolled in while writing their dissertation. Two course modules focus on interdisciplinary areas of scientific work, while the other four courses foster development and discussion of the students' selected research topics. You will choose the topic for your dissertation by yourself. It must be related to the respective fields of study of the Leuphana University as well as to the disciplines represented in the departments. In a first step you have to find an expert advisor (professor) for your project prior to your application and make contact with him or her on your own.
