- Our M.Ed. in Humane Education is a 2-3 year program that trains and facilitates the growth of educators/activists who want to change the world. Comprehensive Humane Education focuses on providing accurate information, fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, instilling reverence, respect, and responsibility, and offering positive choices in order to empower others to make choices that nurture a humane world for all people, animals and the planet. Practicum and/or independent project are self-designed. 1-2 week summer residency in Surry, ME required.
