- This is a 120-credit programme (including 85 credits allocated to preparation, performance and writing up of a research project). The programme is designed as a preparation for a research career, and is one of the few BBSRC sponsored 'MRes' degrees. It aims to give students all the knowledge and information that 'conventional' PhD students wish they had possessed when they started their research! It is also suitable for those wishing to return to experimental science after a spell in other employment or after a career break.
