Program Description:
EBS Law Summer offers students and graduates of Law an exciting and challenging opportunity to study abroad at one of Germany's top private universities and meet people from around the world! Law students and graduates from all over the world are invited to join us this summer at the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Wiesbaden for an intensive 4-week academic program in European Law, taught 100% in English. As a result, EBS Law Summer is the perfect way to develop extensive knowledge in European Law and to gain valuable international experience within a short space of time!

The dates for this year's EBS Law Summer are: 3-28 June 2013. The program includes: a core module (An Introduction to European Law); 6 engaging elective to choose from, each specializing in more detailed questions of EU Business and Commercial Law; Field trips to many numerous major legal sites in Europe (e.g. the European Court of Human Rights, Strasbourg); a Beginner's German language course.

As personal and intercultural competencies gain in significance, communication and negotiation skills have become key qualifications that characterize the truly excellent legal professional. EBS Law Summer prepares participants to solve complex legal problems in European Business Law and offers students the international experience so vital to an increasingly globalized and competitive job market.
Setting Description:
EBS Law Summer is based in Wiesbaden, a picturesque city in the heart of the Rhine-Main-region. Located just a stone’s throw away from Europe’s financial center, Frankfurt, and as the regional capital of the German State, Hesse, Wiesbaden has a lot to offer. In addition to its beautiful parks, opulent architecture and natural hot water springs, it is also home to the Hessian State Theater and host of many exciting cultural opportunities, such as a variety of film festivals and the Rheingau Music festival.
Cost:
Students of partner insitutions of the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht are exempt from the tution fee and are only required to pay the service fee (€350-€550 depending on application deadline met). Non-students and students of non-partner institutions are assessed a tuition fee of €4,000 plus the applicable service fee.
