Program Description:

This programme is particularly suited to lawyers and those working in a business environment who wish to give academic support to their existing practice or who wish to engage in advanced legal study in an area of specific vocational interest. The PGDiploma will normally be completed in a period of 15 months. The LLM will normally be attained by successfully undertaking a further 12 months of study including the completion of a dissertation. Additionally, applicants who have successfully completed a Legal Practice Certificate containing a significant number of Business Law related electives may proceed directly to the LLM stage in a period of 12 months. You will be provided with printed units to work through, which include references for the necessary primary sources as well as explanation and analysis and written assignments. Students are expected to have access to a good quality University Law library for the purpose of obtaining access to journal articles, case studies etc.
