Program Overview

Program Description:
The food industry is the largest industry in the world and offers a range of diverse and challenging careers. Its growth, particularly into the export market, requires a high level of technology as well as professionally trained individuals to apply that technology to ensure the supply, quality and safety of food. Our postgraduate courses in this field are designed to meet the needs of those already employed in the food industry, as well as those in other science fields such as agriculture, nutrition, engineering, environmental health or consumer science who are looking for a career change. They are ideal for those wishing to increase their professional status and diversify their career opportunities. Our courses have an excellent reputation with government bodies and industry, locally, nationally and internationally. Our School of Public Health maintains strong local industry links to ensure you get extensive hands-on experience to complement your studies.
