Program Description:

The main objectives of the two-semester Master of Engineering degree in OR and I.E. are
1) to give students greater breadth and depth of technical knowledge ,
2) to synthesize and apply the material studied in course work, and
3) to provide experience in team-based engineering design projects.
The emphasis is on mathematical modeling and the application of quantitative techniques associated with optimization, probability, and statistics to the design and operation of systems.
