- CFHI offers 20+ Global Health Education Programs in 7 countries- India, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina, South Africa, Uganda, and Mexico. We are an NGO recognized by the United Nations.
Pre-med, medical, nursing and alternative health students participate in 4-12 week long clinical rotations and other global health experiences based on the local community's health care assets, challenges, and structures. Students focus on cultural context of medicine, language training (Mexico & Latin America), and clinical experience.
Pre-Med, Medical, Nursing, Alternative Health Students return to their home countries with a broader understanding of healthcare in a cultural context, medical language training, and the importance of primary and preventative care. At least 50% of program fees go to support underserved communities that we work in.
