- The science of chemistry is concerned with the composition, properties, structure, and reactivity of matter and with the ways in which substances can change from one form to another. The major consists of organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry. The Department is designed to introduce the student to modern research techniques- synthesis, properties, and application of metalloenzyme, organotransition metallic compound, cluster compound, superconductor, RNA, DNA, host-guest compound, and natural compound.
