The graduate teaching assistant training program, recognized as one of the top in the nation, prepares assistants to teach independent sections of the basic course. With a reputation for teaching excellence and classroom experience, our former teaching assistants often pursue careers as instructors at the community college level or go on for doctoral work and obtain positions as professors at the university level.
