Program Description:
The Master of Science in Engineering curriculum is designed for working professionals who wish to enhance their technical skills for career advancement. The program is structured around a core of knowledge related to analytical and management tools, supplemented by advanced technical electives in the student’s area of interest. Students must successfully complete 126 units of academic work. MSE students will gain: An ability to use advanced mathematics and statistics for the analysis of engineering problems; An understanding and appreciation of concepts related to quality and information management; An in-depth understanding of concepts and knowledge related to the student’s area of technical interest; An ability to synthesize knowledge gained in coursework to a research project.

International Requirements:
International Students Students classified as international are those who do not reside in the United States or Canada. A condition for admittance for international students is they must demonstrate adequate English language proficiency and have access to a computer. A score of 213 on the computer-based Test of English as a Foreign Language is the minimum accepted. All work through California National University must be completed in English. English language services are not provided. Credentials for admission must be documented in English. Applicants with non-U.S. educational credentials must first obtain a foreign credentials evaluation from an independent U.S. evaluation service approved by the University.
