- The growth of data communication systems and networks is explosive, outstripping the ability of commercial organizations to recruit personnel with the blend of technical and managerial skills necessary to manage and upgrade these systems in a cost-effective way. The M.Sc. course in Data Communication Systems is designed to meet these needs, as the objective is to ensure the student's capability to understand the design, selection, procurement, installation, management, maintenance and audit of data systems and networks. In addition, to meet the employers' present and anticipated future needs, the course also address wider issues associated with understanding of markets, technical project management in IT and related areas and the enabling and leading edge technologies used to support the rapidly emerging new applications and services.
