The last two days I went to two musical productions.  Fame was an amateur production at the King's Theater.  While I didn't dislike it, it reminded me how high the bar is set by both Carnegie Mellon and RCS.  It also reminded me how wonderful and rare guys are in musical theater that can sing, dance, and act.  Speaking of which, Notes to Self was a production written and put on by the second year Musical Theater students... it blew my mind.  Not only were all the songs and instrumentation original, there was amazing choreography and quite a few cute scenes.  I feel incredibly privileged to attend a school with this much talent, creativity, and personal drive.
