SEA Semester
SEA Semester
Studying the ocean and human interaction with the ocean, students undertake coursework ashore in oceanography, nautical science and maritime literature and history, followed by a practical component of hands-on marine science and blue-water sailing in the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean. Students are full participants aboard in the operation and navigation of a 134' brigantine with a scientific mission and ongoing student research projects. All programming is accredited and available for any major.

Sea mester: Academic, Programs at Sea
A unique educational adventure set aboard traditionally rigged schooners while voyaging throughout the world's oceans. Student's may select to sail the near coastal waters of the Caribbean Sea or cross a major ocean, such as the Indian, Atlantic or Pacific. Sea|mester is fully accredited. Based upon principles of experiential education, the primary academic foci of oceanography, marine biology, nautical science, and leadership are brought from the textbook into real life application.

Science at SEA
Science at SEA (SAS) is a 20-day program for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors offered by Sea Education Association and focusing on the coastal and offshore marine environment around Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The program includes a Shore Component on the SEA campus in Woods Hole, MA, and a Sea Component aboard one of SEA's sailing research vessels, the SSV Corwith Cramer.
