For more than 45 years, the American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) has been arranging study abroad programs for students like you. We pride ourselves in bringing a wealth of experience and resources to safeguard the welfare of our students and ensure they are able to get the most out of their time abroad.

For many students, studying abroad is not only the defining moment of their education, but of their lives. Every student walks away with a unique story and an experience all their own.   Earn up to 16 credits through a wide variety of courses when you study with AIFS in Florence. Students may choose to live in an Italian home or in a student apartment. Enjoy a 4-day trip to Rome and a 3-day trip to Venice – as well as numerous social and cultural activities, such as trips to Pisa and Milan, an Italian cooking class, and visits to the local museums.
