Program Description:
The 2-year Graduate Fellowship in Residential Environmental Education offers a holistic approach to graduate school by integrating academic classes, work experience and opportunities for personal growth. Completion of the fellowship results in a Master of Science degree in natural resources with an emphasis in residential environmental education. The Fellowship includes tuition, room/board, and a stipend, a UWSP faculty-advised MS program, and opportunities a variety of great experiences. Fellows reside at Conserve School and/or UWSP Treehaven, tucked away in the beautiful northern forests of Wisconsin, for all four semesters while completing UWSP face-to-face and online courses. At the same time, they gain skills at an environmental boarding school and a residential environmental education center. This seamless integration of academic work and hands-on skills results in a graduate degree with meaningful application.
