- Our objectives are to train students to recognise and understand the threats and conflicts in the environment today, and appreciate the steps required to develop solutions. Appreciation of the impact of these factors requires an interdisciplinary approach combining scientists, managers and environmental practitioners. We provide a wide-ranging training in environmental science, applicable both to students with previous knowledge of a relevant sub-discipline and to students with little background in environmental science. This degree programme is suitable for those intending to pursue a career in the environmental field, those already in relevant employment and those considering further research to PhD level. Teaching includes enhanced knowledge base learning, technical development and practical skills.
