Program Overview

Program Description:
The MA in Communications and Culture is designed to give students the tools they need to analyze critically and constructively engage contemporary culture from a biblical-theological perspective. The program equips students to analyze significant values and assumptions which shape belief and behavior, to understand historical, philosophical, sociological, and other factors underlying moral and social tensions in contemporary society, to articulate the responsibility of Christians to work for cultural change, and to formulate strategies to effect such change. In the process, students will be challenged to recognize and affirm the lordship of Jesus Christ in all areas of life and to develop special insight into what the lordship of Christ means for selected spheres of contemporary life.
