Program Description:
The Master's program in Information Design and Communication from Southern Polytechnic University has been developed in response to a growing need for professionals in the expanding fields of information design, information architecture, content development, communications management, and visual communication. The MS in Information Design and Communication degree is designed to meet your needs, whether you are a practicing technical communicator, information designer or content specialist, or making a transition into this career. The basic objectives of the program are to educate those persons with diverse academic and work backgrounds who seek to begin their careers in the field of information design and communication, and to provide a useful credential for current technical communicators who need advanced training to move ahead in their careers, either as employees or managers of a company or as independent consultants.

Requirements:
Applicants require a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum GPA of 2.75. Students who do not have an undergraduate degree in a writing-intensive discipline may be required to take appropriate leveling classes. GRE scores should have a minimum of 153 for Verbal Reasoning, 144 for Quantitative Reasoning, and 4 for the writing component.
International Requirements:
International students who did not earn a baccalaureate degree from a college in the U.S. should submit TOEFL scores.
