Program Description:
You'll learn the in-demand skills you'll need to be successful in information and instructional design. In today's complex world, effective instruction takes more than the ability to put together a PowerPoint presentation. It requires strategy. Our rigorous curriculum will give you the critical thinking and technical skills to become an instructional strategist. Your coursework will cover topics in both instructional theory and application and technical communication. It will also incorporate the numerous technologies and media where instruction and communication happen. A snapshot of courses includes: --Instructional Systems Design --Technology Applications in Teaching and Learning --Educational Psychology—The Adult Learner --Information Design --Online Instructional Development --Foundations of Multimedia You can work in any industry that requires information and instructional solutions, including business, education, government, and healthcare. Or you can work as a contractor across these industries and more. The skills you'll apply in your career field could include: --information design, --instructional development, --training, and --content development or management.

Requirements:
Students must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and have a GPA of 2.75 or greater. Students who do not have a degree with a writing intensive background may be required to take leveling courses in writing and/or design. GRE scores should be at or above 153 for Verbal Reasoning, 144 for Quantitative Reasoning, and 4 for the writing component
International Requirements:
International students who did not earn a baccalaureate degree from a college in the U.S. should submit TOEFL scores.
