Program Overview

Program Description:

The Master of Science in Accounting is a rigorous 30-hour program, made up of eight-week sessions with two classes offered each session.  This allows students to complete the MSA degree in two 16-week semesters and one summer. The MSA program includes courses in fund and cost accounting, financial analysis, the legal environment, information control systems, and accounting technology. Upon completing the MSA, graduates will be qualified to register for the Certified Public Accountant exam. Unlike other online degrees, SPSU offers live lectures by your professor that are archived to allow you to plan your study schedule around the other demanding aspects of your life. Online transition courses are offered for those applicants who do not have an undergraduate accounting background.
