Program Description:

This course is targeted at a multidisciplinary audience in the healthcare professions, primarily those with a pharmacy, medical or nursing background. It is delivered via the distance learning mode, supplemented by periods of residential training within The Robert Gordon University Pharmaceutical Care Centre. This centre is a state-of-the-art simulation of both primary and secondary healthcare environments including a GP surgery housing several thousands sets of primary care medical notes, a hospital location with secondary care medical notes, a community pharmacy and a drug information centre. A wide range of healthcare professionals teach in the care centre emphasising the multidisciplinary nature of healthcare provision.
