Program Description:

Students of the Master of Architectural Studies programme opt for one of six pathways

• Urban Design
• Urban Building
• Energy & Environmental Studies
• Computer Aided Architectural Design
• Creative Urban Practices
• History & Theory

The programme begins with a series of core lectures and seminars, balanced by focused reading of key literature related to the six areas of enquiry. This enables all students on the programme to gain a mult-disciplinary perspective and provides ground for shared discourse.

The programme is delivered over one year and in three stages. In addition to the chosen pathway of study, which culminates in a large scale final project, students take a course in core research skills, produce two research papers, and select one elective from a broad menu.
