Program Description:

Biological Engineering Option: The graduate program in Bioengineering focuses on the application of engineering principles to the design, analysis, construction, and manipulation of biological systems, and on the discovery and application of new engineering principles inspired by the properties of biological systems. Biology Option: The program in Biology is based on approaches derived from biochemistry, biophysics, and genetics that offer new possibilities for expanded insight into long-standing problems. Neurobiology Option: The program in Neurobiology organizes study of the nervous system, from events at the molecular and cellular level, through the function of circuits, to phenomena of animal and human behavior, including the computational modeling of neural processes.
