Program Overview

Program Description:

Join a Youth International team for a 12-week trip of a lifetime through this fascination region of the world!  You will travel in a small group of 14 peers, along with two experienced leaders, in Kenya, Egypt, and Jordan.  This experiential learning program offers a combination of adventure travel and cultural exchange, and includes a wide variery of activities, including:

In Kenya: Living in a costal village with a Swahili tribal family and teaching in the local school. exploring the lively streets of Nairobi, trekking up Mt. Kenya, going on safari in Masai Mara and Nakuru National Parks.

In Jordan: Visiting the Dead Sea and the ancient ruins at Petra, living with a family and doing service work outside of Amman, and going on a camel safari.

In Egypt: Living with a family and doing community service work in a suburb of Cairo, visiting spectacular ancient ruins at Giza, Aswan, and Luxor, traveling down the Nile on a traditional felucca boat.

11,550 USD. Includes orientation, all meals, accommodation, ground transport, and program activities. Does not include airfare.
