Program Description:

Mandarin is the fastest growing language of future success. The fastest way to learn Mandarin is through immersion and cultural exchange in Taiwan. Living and studying Mandarin in Taiwan in our Intensive Mandarin Program can help you gain international perspective and independence. Taiwan has Western familiarity and traditional Chinese/Taiwanese culture, thinking, education, society, and democratic values. Taiwan is a friendly and safe environment and one of the most beautiful places in which to learn Mandarin, and see Chinese culture.

Immersion and integration: Students become integrated into Taiwanese student life at the leading government universities in Taiwan. For higher-level students, proficiency testing places students at the right level. Native Mandarin teachers provide rigorous training in Mandarin and Chinese culture. Courses include five days of 3 hour morning intensive Mandarin classes per week, and three days of 3 hour afternoon courses in Chinese culture. Extracurricular activities provide training in Chinese/Taiwanese culture.

Tuition and fees include: Mandarin Training Course Tuition and books; All accommodations, meals (not including lunch), laundry; $10,000NT medical/$3,000,000NT accident insurance; Taiwan Tour travel costs (7 days/6 nights or 10 days/9 nights), including High Speed Rail; Airport pickup in Taiwan Tuition and fees do not include: Round trip flights to and from Taiwan; Personal costs, such as telephone, local transportation to school, lunch, souvenirs, entertainment.

Enjoy Taipei 101, Hualien, Taroko Gorge, Taiwan Bullet Train, Alishan National Park, Sun Moon Lake, Taipei Zoo, Taichung, Kaoshiung. Experience local Taiwanese cuisine, and local Night Market delicacies as enjoyed by Taiwanese students. Live with a Taiwanese family to intensify Mandarin immersion.
