Program Description:

What is it like to grow up in Iraq? How do Iraqi teens feel about the United States? Ask them! Digital Young Leaders Exchange Program (DYLEP) is an online leadership development program for high school students in Iraq and the United States. Selected students will participate for free in online workshops, cultural exchange activities, and games to develop new skills and learn about international affairs. At the end of the program, participants may apply for grants for projects to solve social issues within their communities. Apply by March 15th to be a DYLEP diplomat! www.dylep.org

Requirements:
IRAQI APPLICANTS MUST be at least 15 years old but not more than 18 years old at the time of June 1, 2017; have completed at least one year of high school before the start of the program in June 2017; have a high school graduation year of 2018 or later; have permission from a legal guardian to participate in the exchange program online; have Iraqi citizenship; NOT have participated in a government-funded exchange program before; have English language proficiency. U.S. APPLICANTS MUST be at least 15 years old but not more than 18 years old at the time of June 1, 2017; have completed at least one year of high school before the start of the program in June 2017; have a high school graduation year of 2018 or later; have permission from a legal guardian to participate in the exchange program online; reside in the United States; have English language proficiency.
