Program Description:

Intern in the Italian workplace for six weeks to six months! Florence offers a wide variety of internship placements in various fields. Practice your Italian, gain valuable work experience, and explore all the beautiful sites that Florence has to offer!

Home to some of the leading design houses in the fashion industry, Italy is a perfect place for observing, studying and becoming inspired to design clothing and accessories. Interns will be involved with the process from design to production, practicing sketching, sewing, draping, pattern making, and assisting designers in various other tasks. Jewelry design internships will introduce the various processes needed for the craftsmanship of jewelry including design, filing, linking, soldering, casting, engraving, organizing supplies and more.
