Program Overview

Program Description:

This two-year (five-term) first professional degree program seeks exceptional applicants with independent minds to participate in designing the curriculum and pedagogy of a brand new graduate architecture program. While we primarily seek ap¬plicants who have successfully completed the first four years of a NAAB-accredited 4+2 program, we will also consider candidates who possess pre-professional architecture degrees or other types of design education on a case-by-case basis. An emphasis on Fieldwork identifies the ethos of this program, which funds summer travel op¬portunities at one of our distant learning locations or at a destination of the student’s own choosing. Study-away locations may include China, Barce¬lona, Berlin, Paris, Rome, Tijuana or other parts of Latin America, & the American West. Woodbury M.Arch students attend the fall, spring & sum¬mer terms of the first year and the fall and spring terms of the second year.
