As sports is the most popular activity for young people, it can help motivate young people, build teams, develop leadership, promote volunteerism, educate young people as well as promote fitness and healthy life style” Report of the Commonwealth Advisory Body on Sports 2006

WWI-Ghana has volunteer vacancies for volunteers with experience in the following sports disciplines: football, hand ball, net ball, volley ball and table tennis.

Project Goal: • To bridge the gender gap between boys and girls of school going age. • To promote/increase early enrollment of girls in schools. Project Objectives: • To increase, retain and improve the academic standard of girls. • Reduce teenage pregnancy and early marriage. • To obviate the myth and misconceptions that girls who participate in sports will not be considered for marriage, have no children and will not do well academically.
