The PsyD program in Leadership Psychology at William James College is primarily online with 3 annual residencies (Fall, Spring and Summer). The doctoral leadership program prepares you to work in for profit, nonprofit, government, and education settings to create constructive social change. This means going beyond technical solutions to find adaptive means of change that address not only the structural issues of an organization, but also the values, cultures, and beliefs held within such frameworks.
The program includes 600 hours of hand-on practicum experience and 300 hours of internship expereince in organizations with leaders and teams. These field sites include health care, non-profit, multi-national corporations, finance, higher education and NGOs.
The PsyD in Leadership Psychology also has an area of emphasis in Leading Non-Profits and NGOs.
This program is designed for individuals with a Masters degree and an average of 10 years work experience.
