- Program Description:
- The Exercise Science Program at Wayne State College has created a curriculum designed to provide the Exercise Science major with the academic background and technical skills to work in a number of health/fitness related careers. Students acquire their skills through practicums conducted in our laboratory, working in the WSC Wellness Program, participating in SHAPE Club, and finish their education with a 600-hour internship during their last semester. We are quite proud of the "hands on" experience we provide students at Wayne State College. We also offer a minor in exercise science.
