- Program Description:
- The summer school “International Marketing – Tool for Competitive Opportunities
Development” offers students a 38-hour course covering lectures, discussions business
games, and individual mini-projects. The summer school raises such topical issues as,
for example, marketing strategies, logistics networks, competitive analysis, etc. Besides,
students will have an opportunity to visit some of Kharkiv’s enterprises and to learn how
they work and what strategies they apply, to communicate with the management and
teams, as well as to analyze their organizational and functional structure. The working
language of the summer school is English; Beginner’s Russian language course is part
of the program (Russian language skills are not required).
Participants of the summer school will take a Beginner’s Russian language course (30
hours). The city of Kharkiv is a multinational city where Ukrainians live together with a
number of other nations (incl. Russians, Poles, Belorussians and others). Nowadays,
Russian is an official regional language in Kharkiv.
The summer school focuses on 2 to 5-year students of higher educational institutions
majoring in Economics (Marketing, Management, Finances), International Relations and
International Law.

- Setting Description:
- Lectures at the summer school will be delivered by associate professors and professors of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, students will be supervised by the staff of the Department of International Programs and Academic Mobility and the Center of Area Studies, allowing students to get the most out of Ukrainian culture and diversity of the city of Kharkiv in addition to learning Economics and Russian language. After participation in this summer school, students will improve their knowledge in International Marketing and acquire practical skills. All participants of the summer school get certificates.
