- In the summer 2002, after extensive preparations and marketing analysis, the project for the establishment of medical studies in English was proposed to the Senate of the University of Zagreb. September 20, 2002 marked the formal initiation of the English language program in medicine when the University Senate officially approved the proposed program. The program, scheduled to attract the first generation of students in the academic year 2003-04, welcomes all applicants who are willing to study medicine in a stimulating environment that strives to incorporate the best features of Western medical education.
