Program Description:
The University of Virginia Hispanic Studies program, now in its 27th year, is an enriching and comprehensive experience for the student interested in becoming well-versed in Spanish and Latin American culture and language.

Advanced level courses in Spanish language, literature, culture, art, and history, all taught in Spanish. Variety of internships available, as well as cultural activities and excursions.

Includes tuition and fees, lodging in private homes, all meals taken at home, laundry, and farewell banquet.
Setting Description:
Valencia, the third largest city in Spain, is located on the Mediterranean, and enjoys a mild climate that allows its inhabitants to enjoy it's beautiful beaches throughout the year. The city gracefully mixes old and new, with modern public services, business establishments and leisure attractions, while providing easy access to the rest of Europe.
