- Faculty members in the Department of Immunology study a variety of basic and clinically related topics related to the function of the immune system. The department is particularly strong in the study of immune system development, function of innate and acquired immunity, and in the manipulation of the immune system in relation to a variety of disease states including autoimmunity, cancer, allergy and transplantation. We offer full-time degrees at both the MSc and PhD level and also support students in the MD/PhD program. Our graduates go on to successful careers in medicine, research, academic positions, and other professional endeavours.
