- The Department of Computer Science offers M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree programs. Each degree requires courses plus a substantial paper. We currently have about 350 students, admitting about 70 students annually and graduating 65-70. We have strong collaborations with the Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Psychology, Philosophy, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, the Faculty of Management, and the Faculty of Information Studies. Graduates find positions in academia as well as in industry. One of our key areas, mobile technology, with other initiatives have allowed the University to become a world leader in wireless information technology, providing research, training, and outstanding collaborative opportunities for industry.
