- Biochemistry graduate students have the opportunity to train in the life sciences in one of 50 leading-edge research labs located at the University's Medical Sciences Building or affiliated hospitals and research institutes. Our research interests are diverse and include structural, molecular, and cell biology, signal transduction, proteomics and bioinformatics, protein folding, gene expression and development, membranes, and the molecular basis of disease. Our laboratory and instrumentation facilities are also superb and provide students with access to state-of-the-art equipment and methodologies.
